Swingin' from the Hip

Blending big-band, jazz, cabaret and pop, Rose’s debut album is at turns sassy and brassy, often sultry and sophisticated, and, like Rose herself, always witty and full of a unique intimate energy. Rose’s sound is both retro and thoroughly timeless. Released by Jubilee Records in 2010.
Reviews

"Swingin' From the Hip is a vibrant sampler - filled with delectably bite-sized jazz, pop, Broadway and cabaret nuggets."

JazzTimes

"Sinatra. Babs. Bette. Torme... It wouldn't be entirely surprising if twenty years down the road people were adding Rose to that list."
