It’s true!! I’m hosting my very own radio program thanks to radio legend, Jonathan Schwartz, and the super good folks at WNYC!
I’ll be “on air” every Tuesday night at 9pm, waxing rhapsodic (but briefly) between tracks and tapping my toes to a super swingin’ set list.
You know who I’ll be “turning”: Ella, Frank, Peggy, Mel, Nat, The Count, etc. I’ve got a few surprises up my sleeve for you, too, like Billy Eckstine and The Hi-Lo’s. And one or two of my tracks were recorded by people who are actually still ALIVE!!!!!
But how, you may wonder, can you hear such a terrific show? On you computer machine? On your cordless computer telephone? On an actual ol’ radio? Yes, yes, and no — just see below!
There are many ways to listen —

Verrrrry cool! Some scat and (minimal) chat Tuesdays on WNYC! Congrats, Isabel Rose! May you be the female DJ Dave Garroway – in setting a jazz radio tone for a new generation (as well as us boomers.)
