How to Look Chic During a Downpour

It's been raining steadily all day long which means I'm not that motivated to wear anything but my sweats and a cozy sweater. But it's time to go out to dinner, so I've turned to my favorite movies for inspiration. Baring it all on the Red Carpet: A Trip Down Mammary Lane

I usually watch red carpet events with my favorite gossipy crew (Merton, Tabitha and Cricket) who all feel perfectly comfortable saying the things many of us think, but might not actually utter for fear of being perceived as a "hater." Audrey Hepburn: Actress, Dancer … Singer?

Audrey Hepburn: celebrated beauty, celebrated humanitarian, celebrated fashion icon--- the list could go on and on. One of the few things Audrey Hepburn was not celebrated for was her singing. Though she was clearly not a great vocalist, producers didn't seem to mind. Look! Cecil Beaton: If You Don’t Know Who He Is, You Should!

Cecil Beaton's name popped up on my screen the other day while I doing a google search on movie musicals, and I thought: "Who, exactly, is/was Cecil Beaton? A playwright? A photographer?" He definitely sounded English, but I couldn't really place what he'd done. A quick investigation revealed him to be one of the greatest creative artists of the 20th century!
